Alright, well
things are going fantastic
the new apartment is coming along great
i am going to be putting up all of my framed pictures today
I am at my parents house doing laundry right now
Oh Jen, by the way thanks for adding me, i wasn't sure if you were going to know who I was
I change my user name here about as often as I change my socks.
I discontinued my website. I just simply cannot keep up with it. I don't have enough knowledge of HTML to be able to take care of it. Besides, school is coming up and I dont think i will have enough time to work on it.
I really need to get the internet at the apartment so I can continue my art. I cannot do anything yet. It's quite annoying... |

Well, it's all finished.
The move has been completed.
I am tired and I am sore and I have 40,000 boxes to unpack.
Well that's not true, but there is a lot of stuff that needs to be taken care of and set up in my room.
Today is Sunday and it's 9:30am. I wish I could have slept in, but I had to go to work this morning. I am here until 2pm. Then it's back to unpacking and setting up as soon as I get home.
I have off Tuesday which is nice. So I can do a lot then as well. We also got our phone hooked up on Friday. I had called the phone company on Monday and she told me that they probably wouldn't have it up until Wednesday the 16th. I was soo happy when we bought a phone and I heard the dial tone.
Small things amuse me.
Anyways, I did have this cross posted in the photoshoppe community, but I thought that I would let all my LJ friends have a look at this. I made this last Tuesday when I should have been moving a bunch of my stuff. If I had moved then I wouldn't have had so much to move yesterday.
Well, this is called Sea Angel. It took me approximately 2.5 hours to complete. There are two stock photos used. The girl by Lost Girl Stock and the background was Enigma Stock.

So, last night had to have been the worst night I had in a really long time.
I came home from work to my dog having a stroke in the hallway. His head was cocked to the left side and his eyes were spinning around and he just wasn't right. When he saw me, he tried to get up to come and see me and couldn't. He just fell over to the left. It broke my heart to see that. He was a big samoyed dog and he was 15 years old. I got this dog when I was 6 years old and it's great that he lived that long.
The vet would not come to the house though. And it was so hard to try and pick up this huge dog, whose hips are going out and put him in the back of my brother's car.
I thought I was going to be ok, until I came home last night and he wasn't there. I am so used to stepping over him to get into my room, because he guards my sister and my room and he wasn't there.
I think he knew where he was going last night and I don't think it was fair that we had to take him away and he couldn't leave us like that at home.
Anyways, that was my evening. |

June 12th is the official day for moving. My landlord is allowing me to put some of my boxes in the apartment on June 1, because I am running out of room to put them. My room is a total disaster area, but it's all coming together quite nicely. Went and signed the lease yesterday and put down my first month's rent. This is going to be exciting. My first place away from home. |

Well, I will be getting my own place in approx 2 weeks and counting. Cory and I have finally found a place. I guess that means I should really start getting myself in gear and weeding out a lot of the stuff that I am not going to have to take. The place is really nice too. 2 bedroom, 1.5 baths, balcony. We have so many ideas on what to do. Color scheme in the bathroom is going to be red and black with a black and white portrait of Marilyn hanging. The living room is black and blue. Navy blue but there is a lamp we want to get that is electric blue and glittery inside. It's very us.
I am just so excited. I can take my easel and put it out on the balcony and just paint. We are going to burn incense and it'll just float out of the sliding glass doors into the summer breeze. Sorry, I know I am a geek but I am just too excited for this. :)
In other news, the bike is going well. My brother adjusted the seat and the handlebars for me so it doesn't feel weird when I ride.
So I have about 4 hours left at work and when I go home, I am going to do some packing and getting rid of things.

I'm buying a bike today. I have decided. I was looking on the wal-mart website and they have bikes very cheap there. I'll go up there and buy it this afternoon and then have my brother and I go up there later to put it in his truck.

Didn't get a chance to work on my scrapbook yesterday, however had a very nice walk around town. I love walking. Especially in the evening cause it's nice and cool and there is not many people around.
While I was walking, I passed this abandon building that kind of looked like a farmhouse. There was wood planks over the windows and it looked real run down. I think that I might go back tonight with my camera and take pictures of it.
I walked into work this morning and a co-worker of mine had some gifts for me. He runs the local Silver Spring flea market and got me this video "Home town Story" it's on Marilyn Monroe, and also a commerorative knife with 3 different pictures on the handle. It's beautiful and I cannot wait to go home and watch the video.
I have off this Friday. It's going to be a blast. It's Ryan's birthday and I have a lot planned for him. Even though it's only his 24th birthday it's going to be one that is very special to him.

Yesterday was a pretty busy day. I didn't really get to do a lot of what I wanted.
I went to my cousin's house to arrange the bouquets of flowers for the wedding. I made 9 bouquets of flowers for the bridesmaids and made 17 boutineers or however the hell you spell that. It took about 5 hours. Thank God there were three of us girls who all took on a responsibility.
It was really fun though. I don't get to see Catrina that much anymore. So it was actually nice being able to sit down and just talk.
Have some stuff to do today. Think I am going to go to the Cafe on Market Street after work which ends at 2pm. Then I have to run up to Kohls and see what shorts I can find there. I would like to work on my second Marilyn scrapbook if I happen to get the time to do so. I also want to vacuum out my car and dust the inside.
Totally figures, I washed my car yesterday afternoon and look what happens while I am on my way home from Catrina's? It rains. I was so mad. After all that work and it rains anyway. It's an omen. That's all.
So I have officially 5 hours left to work. Cannot wait until it is over so I can go out and do things. Making the floral arrangements yesterday was really fun and relaxing. I think I would actually like to do something like that for a craft/hobby. Maybe put something together and have them around the house. We'll see.
That's probably all for me now.

I finally feel as though I have gotten sufficient sleep last night. Have been thinking more and more about school and how excited I really am to start it.
I have so many ideas that I just cannot wait to do with all the special programs that we are going to use. In particular 3d studio max. That program looks so bad ass and it's going to be great.
My cousin's wedding is 2 weeks away. I cannot believe that it has gotten this close. However, I don't have my date anymore. It's kind of going to be a sticky situation. Being at a wedding when the man that I truely love is not going to be there by my side.
I am supposed to be going to see Troy tonight with a couple of my friends. It probably won't be until later on though because one of them doesn't get off work until 8:30pm. So it's probably going to be a long night. Since the movie is apparantly like 3 hours long. But I don't have to be anywhere to early the next morning.
My car needs a bath. I think I will do that tomorrow. Vacuum it out at the carwash and make it all nice and shiny.
That's about the end for me.

Soon off to another long day at work.
Think tonight I am going to try out this coffeehouse that I have seen in passing but never actually went in there. Cafe Le Breeze or something silly like that. It will give me a chance to catch up on my reading. I did start the Sandman series last night and tonight would be a great opportunity to read it.
I went for a long walk last night after I got home from the comic store. I knew that I needed it. Helps clear your head alot. I am still tired from my lack of sleep Monday into Tuesday and I would just love to stay here at home and sleep for the rest of the day. I've been getting up later and later each day that passes because my sleep is just too messed up now.
Have an appointment with my soon to be college on Saturday at noon. Need to have a finanical aid appointment. I honestly cannot wait for school to start. I really want to be able to do something that I enjoy. So this is going to be really good for me. |

I am going to start yet another one of these. This is something that will really help me get my thoughts down other than a regular journal.
Lots of things have been happening in my life as of now. I alot of good and bad things.
I know at this point everything is going to work out for the better. It just pains me at the moment.
I did lose the man that I thought I was going to marry. He ended up not giving me what I knew that he could. He is motivated to change his life definitely for the better and I know that the change is not soley on me.
He needs to do it for himself.
He asked me if I would ever take him back if I saw that he had proved himself to me.
Of course I don't know that.
That is the future and this is the present. Cannot dwell on what has happened and what may have happened.
You need to focus on the matter that is layed out in front of you.
So this time apart is going to be a good thing. It is going to give us both an oppourtunity to do the things that we want to do.
I have so many things that I want to learn that I am just going to go out and do.
Starting school in September. Probably going to see him there a little later on in the year. I hope to see his work up on the walls.
I am very proud of him. I wonder if he knows this.
I am sure he does deep down inside himself.
He knows that everything is going to work out for the better. |
